Jeff Conaway enters his fourth season as head coach of the Saints. In his first three seasons as head coach, Conaway has
compiled a record of 27-11 with a state quarterfinal appearance in 2014, a second round appearance in 2015, and a state
semifinal appearance in 2016.
On June 17, 2014 Shiloh Christian High School named Jeff Conaway the 5th Head Coach in Saints Football program history.
Conaway, who had spent six years as Head Coach at his alma mater Greene County Tech, represented all of the qualities
Shiloh Christian was looking for: a leader of young men who can guide Shiloh's student-athletes to be Champions spiritually,
Champions academically, and Champions athletically.
Coach Conaway runs an exciting, Hurry-Up No Huddle offense cut stright from the mold of former Shiloh head coaches Gus
Malzahn, Chris Wood, and Josh Floyd. His extensive knowledge of the system and a proven track record of leading a successful
program makes him the perfect fit to lead the Saints.
Conaway came to Shiloh after leading the Greene County Tech football program to a level of success that they had never had
before. Under Conaway, the Eagles reached the following program milestones; First playoff win in school history, Most wins in
school history, Most points scored in a season, Most total yards offense in a season, Most touchdowns in a season, Most
receptions in a season, Most total yards in a single game, Most passing yards in a single game. In Coach Conaway's six
seasons at GCT, the Eagles enjoyed as many playoff appearances as the program had seen in the previous 40 seasons
combined. He was named the 2009 NE Arkansas Coach of the Year.
Conaway was Shiloh Christian's offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach from 2004-2007, a period in which the program
produced a 44-10 record, 1 State Championship, 1 State Runner-Up, amd 3 Conference Championships under former head
coach Josh Floyd. The 2006 Saints were ranked 9th in the southwest United States and number one overall in Arkansas. Coach
Conaway was a vital part in the development of former Shiloh Christian superstar wide receiver Crosby Tuck. Under Conaway's
watch as OC/WR coach, Tuck amassed 4,381 receiving yards and 52 touchdowns in his SC career.
Prior to his years at Shiloh Christian, Conaway served on the staffs of Arkadelphia High School and Ouachita Baptist University
as a graduate assistant.
A Message from Coach Jeff Conaway:
With the student-athlete in mind, my goal is to lead a program that will encourage young men to be disciplined enough to
commit themselves to excellence; which can be defined as the ability to rise above self, circumstances, obstacles, change, and
the crowd. In everything I do, I want to set an example by doing what is right. In my teaching, I want to model integrity, dignity,
and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned. When students leave the program, it is my hope that they will have been
exposed to and participated in comprehensive lessons focusing on leadership skills such as work ethic, character, courage,
commitment, a positive attitude, perseverance, goal setting, communication, innovation, resilience, family, and how to grow in
their walk with Christ. We will continue to uphold the great tradition of winning championships at Shiloh Christian. The future is
Coach Conaway earned his undergraduate degree at Ouachita Baptist University, where he played football for the Tigers, and
